An Thanh House is located on the coastal stretch of Da Nang city, comprising residential and incense exhibition space. The design intent aims to create a harmony of familial privacy and commercial functionality.
Our objective is to transform the shopping experience within this space into an enjoyable excursion. A continuous series of display ramps is created to allow viewers to have a seamless flow of movement, while the perspective of the space revolves during the journey. These sloping display paths are arranged along the perimeter of the building, dividing the volume into two contrasting parts.
The lower part below the ramps is surrounded by transparent glass walls, enhancing interaction between the interior of the building and the urban surroundings; the upper part above the ramps is a solid white block, creating an inward-facing exhibition space with uninterrupted sightlines for easy navigation.
The residential space is located on the top floor, connected to the store space below through an atrium, through which natural light floods the space from above. The shared space of the living room and dining room is oriented towards the sea to welcome sunlight and breeze.
